The Task
The surprise unveiling of the Thermomix TM7 on Valentine's Day 2025 in Berlin was staged as an emotional live experience for around 2,500 international Vorwerk consultants, complete with real-time 3D and LED show design. Interpreting the production simultaneously from English into twelve target languages meant preserving every ounce of emotion and drama along the way. Earlier that same day, an international press conference in six languages had taken place at a different Berlin venue, with some of the same interpreters on duty. Coordinating the day meant making sure the change of location, and the handover between the two events, went off without a hitch.
Our Solution
A team of 24 simultaneous interpreters brought the live launch to twelve languages, while a team of 10 covered the press conference. Beyond straightforward language transfer, the real challenge was capturing mood and excitement, so the show's big surprise landed with the same punch in every language. Because several interpreters worked both engagements, held at two different locations on the same day, simultando partnered with Vorwerk and the event organiser to design the most efficient staffing plan, handling consulting, coordination, and on-site team support throughout.
