The Task

TÜV SÜD im DIALOG 2025 was a kick-off event in Munich with around 850 participants on site and more than 2,000 people joining online. Everything on stage was in German, and part of the audience needed it in English. The interpreting was to be delivered remotely: our team was not in Munich but connected via a video and audio link. That only works if the feed is stable from the very first minute and arrives in professional quality.

Our solution

Our simultaneous interpreters worked from their own office premises and interpreted the event live from German into English. The professional video and audio feed from Munich came from storytile GmbH, who commissioned us and handled the technical delivery on site. We had agreed and tested the signal paths and the sound together beforehand, so that the interpreting team received exactly what could be heard and seen in the hall. English-speaking participants in the hall and online were able to follow the programme without delay.
