The Task
The Deafblind Foundation developed the training program "Child-Guided Strategies" together with the Perkins International Academy for professionals working with deafblind children. The content was to be conveyed both through 24 tutorial videos and accompanying training webinars – each in English and German. So that all participants could understand the technically demanding content equally well, the interpreting had to be consistently precise, while the appropriate recording technology for the videos also had to be provided.
Our Solution
For the 24 tutorial videos, we used simultaneous interpreting with recording and also provided the necessary recording technology. We interpreted the accompanying training webinars live and simultaneously directly in Zoom. This meant the Deafblind Foundation and the Perkins International Academy reliably had all training content available in both languages.
